Wow, definately a huge upgrade for the TT. I haven't heard of this turbo model, but I did know they were completely revamping the original TT next year. I still hate the TT though lol.

No TTRS

Postby Schock » Fri Sep 08, 2006 5:04 pm

Reports have stated that the 3.2 will probably be the biggest engine offered for the TT. Insead audi is going to be offering a TT with the S-Line package on the 3.2. (as shown in the spy pics). But there are still rumors that audi will put the new S3's engine (the 265 hp 2.0T) into the TT. Lighter = faster. one can pray...

I don't know who you are, but I only said this because he's my friend and he owns an Audi. Also, this was from like seven years ago.

I've seen a few around town, and I have to say I am impressed, really stepped it up a notch from the last generation. Also, there are a couple R8's in my neighborhood, and everytime I see one it gets nicer and nicer! It really is a beautiful car.

yes, Porsche Cayman and Boxster better step it up when TT comes out. perhaps an engine upgrade or maybe Boxster TT (dream come true) :D

that's crazy! 3.2L turbocharged. with a bigger turbo swap
it can go 400-500 HP with no problem...

but what would the price be?

better not be like the new M3 and the previous M3
big price difference!!

aren040 wrote:It will most likely be less that the RS4 but way more than a TT. My guess would be mid to high 60K range. Remember this is an RS series car, so this is to the TT as the A4 is to the RS4.

My thing is that I think Audi did a great job with the TT redesign. It is really a great looking car. But, with this I wonder what is going to happen to the R4, since it was supposed to be a mid engine 300+ HP car based on the TT.

it's either the RS4 stops producing or the TT RS don't come out
