For the most part nitrogen is a gimmick, air is over 75% nitrogen
anyway. The real problem is the amount of water vapor in the
air. That's what expands and contracts the most and causes the
problems. So just use dry air and you'll be ok. In fact for most
types of driving, regular air is ok, since for the most part it don't
make that much difference at street driving speeds. Saying that
I'm required use nitrogen in my tires for my speed division in Open
Road Racing, just because at over 200 mph the amount of expansion
and heat of normal air in the tires can cause a tire failure.

By the way, when I got new tires for the mini-van at Costco, they filled
them with nitrogen. Since I don't go over 110 mph in the mini-van, it
won't matter much, but I got neat little green valve stem caps to show
that the tires are filled with nitrogen.

I'm not sold......

I've looked into it a while back when few customers hit me up but the cost of the purchase wasn't worth the feedback I read on the forums, besides the return would really take forever.....

RUSNAK must be stuck with one of these machines....

Their reasoning for street cars is that nitrogen is denser than air so it won't leak out as fast. The thing is if you are worried about a leak, just fix the damn tire. Or fill it at a gas station, which is required by law to let you do it for free. Its the same marketing scam as a cold air intake on an f250 or dodge ram. "Oh wow, an extra 10 hp on a 8000LBS truck Thats gonna make a huge difference. I'm glad I spent $300 on this." LOL. I've only put Nitrogen in one set of tires on a Jeepspeed race vehicle and that was because we had a huge tank to adjust the PSI in the shocks so we used it for tires too.
