Some Good News!

Postby Jitters » Wed Feb 27, 2008 4:45 pm

Hey there dudes an dudettes...

I just got off the phone with the previous owner and builder of my PCAR. It looks as thought he may be able to help me out with the parts I need to repair the car. :D :D :D

So, I might be up and running sooner than expected. :D Very nice guy too, based out of Oklahoma. His company is called Planet9Eleven.

He stated that the engine in my car was a transplant from a Florida ball player who had just spent $100K on rebuilding his 930 and on the day of delivery he plowed into a freeway barrier and was killed. :( Real sorry to hear that.

He also stated that the cars been dynoed @ 525hp RWHP @ 1.3bar on 108 octane fuel...

Man I miss my PCAR...

But alas, all is not loss...there is light at the end of the tunnel...

Ciao,

Jitters

I knew there was something about your car Todd...That's an awful light car for 500+.

I'm glad to hear that....

Good Luck...

500+HP on racing fuel, now that's incredible. But then again, it explained why your Red Beast is a blower. Before I had the privilege of seeing how fassst that Beast can do, now I am a believer.

I'm glad to hear the good news. Sure is Godsend!

Hey Big Peter,

It truly is...I'm just glad I was able to locate the previous owner of the car.

Had I not searched out information on some of the other Porsche Forums, I may have never been able to locate the previous owner. The crazy part is that I was not looking for him. Someone just happened to notice the car and asked where I got it from. And the rest is history.

The internet has really made this planet a very small place.

Big Todd... You'll be back soon... I'm really glad for you.... It's kind of tough on me to hold up the flag of "Old School" within the group single handedly.
