533I Speedo

Postby Jitters » Wed Mar 28, 2007 7:25 am

Hey there, can anyone tell me how the speedo works in my old 533I. Currenlty it is not working. I know that there is no cable as in other cars, so I'm stumped. I've changed the instrument cluster per a friends recommendations; however, that didn't work.

Any and all help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jitters

I do think that is where we would send our customer's units to be rebuilt at the old company..... If it is they are pretty neat "old-school gents"....

Good Luck,

Hey Eli,

I actually found a website that sells the gears that are needed to rebuild the odometer in my Beamer. Costs about $75.00 for the gears. Not bad at all.

I'll let you know how it turns out...
