Eli - Rim question

Postby cameronc08 » Thu Jan 17, 2008 10:35 pm

Can you do any crazy stuff to rims, or just repair them, bake them black and chrome them? Like can you paint a rim to look like a lambo rim for instance, like this;

Or do anything else out of the ordinary? Just a curious question....For now... :twisted: :twisted:

I like the blue lip Rich, looks nice!

I wonder why not as many people color their rims to match their cars as opposed to blacking the rims out. Is colored rims considered distasteful or just not as popular as black? Just wondering, think some cars would look good with decent colored rims!

Hey Cameron,

It's become very popular at least in my neck of the woods to color match wheels to the exterior paint of your car. I actually got the idea to go non traditonal after seeing a lime green Lambo with black center and lime green lip...It was love at first site...

One day we got to make sometime to blacken up those wheel wells, My car has the same discoloration in the wheel well area... Maybe some good old fashion brush scrubbing will do the trick with a touch of ArmorAll at the end????
