Just figured I'd throw this out there as a fun thread.....
Yesterday while traveling to Rodeo Dr. I did manage to meet up with a 996TT which was more than happy to put his foot down with me....
I didn't catch his whole plate number but it said "Chief ___" .....
Anyhow, we were playing between the traffic for a bit, not too fast but quick. We then did manage to catch an open run, while he was in the number one lane near the center guard rail he did happen to get out of the gate first while I made my way around a SUV in the number two and advanced to an open #3 lane..... From that point we were open for a good 1/8 mile or so..... He had only himself in the car while I had a combined total of 550-lbs (3-people) of human weight in mine......
Well I assumed he was going to do much better but as soon as we both took off, it was just more and more space between us.... My passenger looked over for him but said he couldn't see him until he glanced into his passenger side view mirror..... It wasn't close at all....
It was all over from that point...... In all fairness the TT looked stock as there were no signs of mods....
