Maserati Cambiocorsa questions...

Postby cameronc08 » Tue Oct 09, 2007 5:08 pm

My father is looking to buy a Cambiocorsa coupe (02-04) sometime early/mid next year, and I was doing some research, and my only concern is because it uses many Ferrari parts, what the maintenance and annual upkeep costs are going to be. I can't find much information on that. Does anyone have any information on the car, your thoughts, pros and cons, know anyone that owns one? Any input would be awsome, thanks. Just wanted to get an early jump start on as much info as I can before he gets serious with looking.

Does this mean you'll get the Boxster then? :)

Heheh, I drive whatever is in the driveway! Right now that's either a Chevy Tahoe or the Boxster. He is looking to purchase a Maserati, and then late next year my mother and I are looking to get an 04-05 5 series, so I will have plenty to choose from and never be dissapointed. And we will never get rid of the Boxster, it may be the 'low end' Porsche but it's a convertable and fun as hell to drive!

I just have to keep researching on the car, because I read reviews on people that hate em and people that would never buy another car...To each his own I guess.

My idea of mild and your idea of mild are probably quite different.

And I like the weather here everyday, even the days that are a little more brisk...A nice little change from time to time.

My brother had the 2001 3200Gt for 3 years and 10 months ago got the 2003 4.200L Cambiocorsa coupe, the car is great and very fast, lot of room insite and the interior is one of the best!
No problems so far on any of them so I dont know about service prices etc, the motor is the same as the Ferrari 360 and 430 so am sure that in some point it will ask for the same (more-less) service monay.
One good idea is the one that my brother did, when the big service time is about to come, you give the car back to the dealer and get a newer one with the service have done and 12 months guaranty! ;)
