They arent made for your Boxster Steve, Your box has 2 cats per side, one of which is apart of your factory exhaust manifolds. If you replace it with headers you will have a check engine light... However there are ways around this... You can get a euro spec ECU which (from what i hear) ignores either the first or second set of o2 sensors

It would but it'll grab its data from the o2's behind the last set of cats rather than the first set. So no, it would be ok.

Well didnt you find a sucker yet to buy your $300 CDr-220?

Theres a thread somewhere on the 986forum where a member bought them and inspected the welds and quality (certified welder) and said everything was top knotch and installed them without any issues. And beside... Headers are headers when it comes to a boxster, you arent going to see anything greater than a 0-4 HP difference from one brand to the next because they all have the same pipe layout/design.
