That statement only true for bookworm boyfriendless for 10 years kinda girls... It definatly matters how much the gift appears to have cost you. Women you date rate you on the quality of the gift you get them. Im sure the first gift you give her she will be checking for thought but after that you "the Thought that counts" doesnt apply anymore.

Not all women though, there are some that don't really care too much and after a while it is the thoughtful gifts that count. That is when you marry them.

There has to be a balance, you cant just buy them expensive stuff all the time. After a while they start feeling like a whore where every time you have to do something you just throw money at it. If they like that, well you split. But, on the flip side, you can not always be some cheapskate that doesn't spend any money of them because they feel like you dont appreciate them and they leave you. As with everything in life, you have to find the perfect balance for you.

Back in the old days, I only need a bouquet of red roses and a nice dinner date should do the trick. Now, diamond ring, platinum bracelet are the fad. I'm glad I am not the young man in this materialist era.

Some girls are that easy but i dont know why we are here trying to figure them out now, This is something men havent been able todo for centuries... Easiest to figure out are the dumb blonde types.
