Question about the Lincoln Aviator

Postby cameronc08 » Thu Dec 21, 2006 5:28 pm

Just curious if anyone has ever driven, owned, or had expierence with a Lincoln Aviator or Navigator, probably going to purchase one soon. Any pros and cons that I should know about? Just want a heads up on all your thoughts, thanks!

Looking in the 20k range for SUV's, seems like a great quality ride.

Sorry man,

I've only had the Cad Escalade when I was down a car. Only drove it for a short period so I can't say much.

The Linc Nav is similar but I can't provide any feedback,

No problem.

Even though you had the Escalade for a short period, what are your thoughts on it? Keeping an open mind on everything in the price range. My father doesn't like Cadillacs at all however, he thinks they look like they are for old men. He is really favoring the Aviator at the moment. I agree it looks nice and quality material, and we also rented a new Explorer for a week when I was out in Cali. I thought it drove great, and I would assume they drive similarly. Just trying to get some feedback, so thanks for the response! Have a great Christmas Eli.

Merry Christmas,

I think they are pretty simple to drive and a lot of the owners are pretty young if you ask me......

If I went SUV I think I would go either Hummer or Cadi. . . . Best to rent one for a couple of days to play around with them if you're able to.

Good Luck,

I agree on renting one for a week to get a feel for it. I don't think my father meant Cadillac drivers are old as much as he thinks they look like they are for old men. Don't ask....Anyways, We looked at H3's but the interior is horrendous, and the H2's are too much of gas guzzlers. He also hates anything made by Lexus (or Toyota I guess). He is pretty hardpressed about the Aviator, so we'll see. And I will get the Boxster, and he will get a new car for himself in the next month or two (He really likes the new G35s, he had one for a week and loved it). I have 4 brothers, plus my friend will probably come and live with us for a year or two, so we need an SUV. Better than a minivan. Anyways, hope you have a great day.

Well good luck with all that......

I had an H1 for a year and racked over 10,000 miles on it..... It takes a ton of fuel and is a pretty solid machine when you're on uneven ground but isn't make for the urban roads.....
