I couldn't agree more.

However, most, if not all, of the domestic automakers have various offspring that are in competition with one another; GM's Cheverolet vs Pontiac, Buick vs Oldsmobile; Chrysler Corps Plymounth divisioni, "What's up with that".

If you ask me GM should downsize to just Cheverolet and Cadillac, Ford, well, should just keep Ford and Lincoln (Gotta have the luxury niche), and Chryler should dump plymouth...

Oh and if it were really up to me, I would dump all automobiles that were not Porsche...with the execption of a few luxury brands...

Chrysler has already killed off the Plymouth brand. Happened after
the Daimler-Benz buy out.
