Now, the issue was with sales and having an expensive Nissan as apposed to an expensive Infiniti. It is easier for the public to swallow an expensive Infiniti, but a expensive Nissan would be hard to push. Or at least that was the thought process back then.
Well fast forward to today and we can clearly see that Nissan is not having any issues pushing this car under their main badge. If this was a higher volume car and not such a niche, then I would say definitely go with the Infiniti badge.

and some said "it's a Nissan" so I don't know how it is going to
sell when it comes out. I mean with the money I can get a new M3
or SL550!
and how much will the value drop on the GTR after few years?
I mean it's a Nissan right and since they're mass producing it,
it won't be that rare
