I was in bed sleeping and my little brother woke me up, i thought to tell me Happy Birthday but he flicked on the TV and 1 minute later i seen the 2nd building get hit.

I was working in El Segundo.....

Wife (Ruby, gf at the time) was working accross the street from LAX, she was under contract from my company in support (aerospace project). I called her company and informed them she was to be released since they were in a high-rise..... 15-min-later, I showed and picked her up....

Sept 13th, I received my orders in the mail from the Department of Defense...... "Thank you for your eight years of service -Uncle Sam", my final orders were cut on Sept 11, 2001.
