Well, I pretty much agree with most but am taking capi's approach. Being grateful that my family is doing well and that I have great friends in my life...and a God that gets me through each and every challange that I've been confronted with in my 51+ years of living.

I'm also grateful that I get to go to work and get to drive my cars and get to freely go where I want to go...

I'm also grateful that I can choose to leave this country anytime I want too and no one will stop me...

In spite of this financial crisis, I still believe that I live in the greatest country in the world, inspite of our current financial situation...

The blessing, as I see it, is that I can still, if I "choose too", change the direction of my life and get into politics or become a top executive and be on the winning side of this financial conundrum...

"ONLY IN AMERICA" can we freely change our current circumstances and strive to become whatever we want...

Let's not forget that our politicians, lobbyist and corporate big wigs are people too...They just made better career choices....

I'm so frustrated that my house is now underwater and I can't do anything about it. I can only extend the low APR and not lower my loan amount to the current market price.

That's too bad, you're not alone.... Personally I'm not there yet but inspite of putting down a 25% down I was sent a letter than told me I couldn't up my 2nd on the home since they were not extending out 25% below the homes value... I guess this tells you that even the banks are bracing for a low ride...

Not a big deal... :)

It is interesting that it was initially rejected at $700B and less then a week later, it was approved at $840B :| Give me a break  President Clinton left a surplus of $300B dollars for GWB and look what he and Cheney have done with it. Iraq and Afghanistan is not about democracy or liberation, it is about $$$$$ Do you know that there are more independent contactors in Iraq and Afghanistan then there are military personnel?? Can you say KKB?? or the word Halliburton??? It is interesting that each time Palin or Mc Cain wave the "Surge" flag, no one reminds the people that more then 900 brave servicemen had died in Iraq. What a piece of sh!t world we are leaving to our children and grandchildren...Just my 2 cents 8)

Agreed...
