NEXT TIME YOU NEED TIRES, YOU KNOW WHERE TO GO!!!!

Postby FastForwardWheels » Fri Jun 13, 2008 7:11 pm

Some of you know this but others of you don't....

I get wholesale pricing on all brands of tires, I've had the opportunity to sell some to you when I was back in Alhambra.

Now, I'm able to get in and do the same here at the new place. It doesn't matter where you go to compare, bring it my way and I'll see what I can do to beat any price out on the open market...

Most of the time my pricing is in line with the giant TireRacker when you consider shipping, mounting, balancing, valves, disposal and installation. . . .

Just thought you should all know... :)

Sorry Peter, no I do not....

Don't see the sense in purchasing a machine of this $$$$ (there's a used one on ebay @ $5,000 right now) to balance a few tires..... I get maybe three people a year who ask if I have that machine. I'm sure they wouldn't want to pay the premium to have their wheels balanced with it if it was.

Let me ask Peter, do you think you'd thumb out $30-35 per wheel to have a tire mounted and balanced with one of these? $120-140 the set? Right now it cost $60 on the set of four.

Well it will depend on how serious you are, I mean it's hard to have wine taste with beer money when you want the best at a good price if you know what I mean....

A great track (steet legal) tire is the Hoosier R3S04 and A3S04...

Take a look yourself:

Now the Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R is a good alternative to the extreme but you'll report low miles between sets I'm sure.

The patern replicates the Falcon and Toyo patterns if you're familiar with those brands. . .

Keep the The ADVAN by Yokahama in mind too when considering a good street/track tire. . .

You may want to do some homework in order to determine the life of the tire you need along with the amount of traction you desire in conjunction with the amount of money you're willing to spend.

If the rental is a Cayenne then you take as much time as you need with our (Honda) Pilot while I take the family to Vegas :D

The question was not directed to me but ill thow in my opinion anyway.....One of the best street/track tires from my research are Yokohama Advan Neova but they are not on a cheap side....If you dont want to pay the premium there is also a bit less sticky street/track tire with a bit less tire thread life but half of a price Falken Azenis RT-615 thats what im geting before auto-x

Thanks for your input, there are always people who prefer something a bit different.... As for me I'm hooked on Michelin Pilot Sports.....

aren040 wrote:Well considering my car is a daily driver I need to function in rain and shine. Eli, you really like the PS2s? I don't know, they just don't feel all that sticky to me. Also, if I run anything 200 or less on the tred I have to get bumped up a class in Auto-X so I think that makes the option that you gave me go bye bye.

Marius, my issue is that I have the 19s so tires cost is slightly up there for me as well as the fact that not all manufacturers make all the models in my size.

Irv, will look at the Toyos as well. I am going to start my research soon and that way I will be ready to buy in the next few months.

I've road Bridgestones for about 4 years on the Porsche and used Michelins on the M3 for two years. I had to go back to the Pilot Sports by Michelin Tires, I know they are close to $1700 for the set on the 19" sizes I use, if you'd like to save about $700 go for the Toyo T1R tires....
