I have this app, Me and Eli bought it yesterday, its so freaken cool.

The makers and some users of this app have tested it against there G-tech performance meters and found that its dead on compairable as far as accuracy with the g-tech and other performance meters.


Oh yes, Does your wife have any sisters in there 20's?

From what I have researched though, the G-Tech meters and all aren't all that accurate to begin with though. I guess it is another cool, little program for the iPhone.

They are to an extent, for 12.99 this is a nice little quick tuners tool.
Most people that buy the Gtech dont really know how to use it and think that everyrun they do should pull up the exact same numbers everytime but dont think about the heat generated by the engine, outside air temp and driver reaction/shift point would have effect on the outcome of the numbers the meter produces. I've had a gtech and another brand performance meter in the past and they've worked pretty damn good.

CJ, the reviews that I read are not of Joe public, most of the time, they are professionals that actually use science and the scientific method to review these products. I wish I could find the article for you, but I tried and I can not find the one that I had read. If I stumble accross it again I will post it up for you.

But, you are correct as well, for the everyday person, this should be more than enough to keep them entertained.

Yep Yep thats what i want it for. I mean for $12.99 its worth a shot. When i see you Ill let you take a look at it and see the skidpad feature so you could see how sensitive the accelerometer is that is built into the iPhone.
