Why they didn't say this is easy. The announcement of this would have been just one more blemish on the record of our current president.

But more truthfully, any government hates stating that they are in a recession. Not because their pride gets hurt, but because it causes people to panic and hoard bringing the whole cycle of money to a screeching halt.

We all knew we were in a recession and for whoever there is out there that didn't, well you sure can hold your breath for a long time while your head is buried in the sand.

What I am hoping is that they don't have to announce that we are in a depression come December 2009.

I think what matters most is what we do individually moving forward knowing we're in a recession? How many of us are in danger of loosing our jobs? How long could we hold on to our homes, cars? I know what i'm praying for

You are absolutely correct. I'm sure that most of us have similar concerns, well maybe not Rich, regarding our future. I know I am. Unfortunately, there are things that I have no control over. Every industry will be challenged with right sizing due to the current state of our economy.

I work for a global company, the largest in our industry and we just had town hall meeting regarding this issue. Cutting operating costs is inevidable.

I know what it's like to be at the bottom. I've been there.

I'm just making sure I stay prayed up...God has not let me down yet...
