California License Plates..

California License Plates..

This is an extremely dumb an odd question but cant find it online..I am probably moving to California soon (in PA now) and was just curious if you need front plates there, because you dont here and it would suck if you do..Thanks

Yes, CA requires front plate. Hopefully, Arnold will change it since he is a car guy himself. A BIG hope of-course.

You arent even allowed to use a Euro-plate? That really sucks, takes away from the whole bumper, making it somewhat pointless to dump money into a nicer one. I guess this is one of (well THE ONE) nice thing PA has over CA, no front plates.

Hey Cameron,

This is probably a dumber question, but I thought you already lived in Cali. What gives?

And yes front plates are required; however, I don't have plates on the front of my PCAR or my Lexus (DD) and to date I haven't gotten cited.

Unfortunately, the inner city (LA) and it's surrounding cummunities thrive on ticket revenue...that's why they have all the meters and folks driving around citing folks for very small infractions...

Finally, most of the guys I know who drive Porsches here in SoCal don't have front plates...

nope.....needs to be mounted legally.
