Well i didnt think it was possible but here we are... Actually when the engine and exhaust are cold, it sounds alot more like an F car, when it warms up it sounds alittle less like one. I guess fat exhaust with straight pipe on your boxster naturally sound less like an F car.

My year of boxsters only have 1 set of cats and if i remove them, ill pull a CEL code... I'd need a reflash to over come that... and right now, im in the middle of buying/repairing a new set of wheels its later ill do that.

aren040 wrote:I see, I was under the impression that the 986s did come with two cats, but that may be for later years of the 986.

Also, did you pick up those used hollow OE Twist wheels or whatever they were called from that Turbo?

-aren

Yeah later years of the 986 boxsters like Steves come with 2 cats per bank.

Yeah Peter, Aren i picked up those bent hollow spoke TurboII's. Im picking them up thursday and sending them to Eli to see if they are salvagable.... If they are repairible, Ill be looking to trade the Rear 11X18 with anyone that has 10X18 hollow spokes straight up so long as the tires are P-zero's and have 80%+ life left on the them.
