Headers Install

Postby fornowh » Tue Jul 08, 2008 8:57 pm

Got my headers yesterday from one of the E-bay sellers, I did my install today, early before it's heat up. I say it is about a 3 hours job for me no hurry. I did it today so I can come for tomorrow's meet, found out my cv boot is torn up, just ordered the part today won't be here till Thursday.

nice and quick Romy!!!
did you order from the place where I got it at?
looks the same!! hope you like it and the CEL don't mess with you... watch the (Power Steering line) on the driver side of your header because they are too close...
Tight your power steering line to the brake line so the header won't melt it because it is rubber hose!!

good job man!!

now, you just need a pair of test pipe and better muffler then we would have same set up
:D

Steve, I saw that, I use a tie rap, tie it down to the suspension part. Besides, I just dont like things dangling around. Thanks.

Hey Romy...yeah, it was one of those cars that I loved back in high school...along with the 911.

I got a really good deal on it. Needs work but little by little I'll take my time and restore...very fun car to drive...and the good thing is that all the parts are still available at reasonable prices...
