Yeah dude, I've had that happen to me countless times, I've even seen the perp do that infront of me and drive off as soon as i turn my back. And theres the eggs, and tabasco sauce and the childish messages written in the dust.
yes, but that is because you live in the ghetto.![]()
Steve, where did this happen? Also, unless you caught the guys plates or someone else saw the incident then the police are pretty much out of options, so there is no need to get all worked up over it. Just turn the claim into insurance and get your check.

aren040 wrote:Steve, that is all up to you. But, what you could do is report it and get the money from the insurance company. When they hike up the price, then just jump ship and go to a different company. The issue here may be that you are young though. Do you have your own policy or are you combined with anyone else?
You can usually get better rates when you sign a new contract, that is because of the way the commissions are set up for the agent/broker.
They get better/bigger commissions on new customers than they do off of renewals. That is why most of the time they can pass a bigger saving on to you when you sign up as a new customer.

Examples: hit and run, sand damage or rocks from freeway driving, flood, fire, or anything else mother nature can throw. I have State Farm with full coverage, and have put in many claims for hit and runs, and sand damage. My corvette got a new windshield and paint job because of sand damage and it costs me the $250 deductible with no rate hike or anything. Call your agent and ask about it before writing it off.

Well, if you have a $1000 deductible and your repair cost is near the deductible don't report it. Just pay it out of your pocket when you hit a major business deal to recooperate the expense.

Peter your T/A bumper wont fit 986 boxsters unless they have your 02-up headlights.
