I don't think they have welding machine... and i doubt it's bolt on...

it is possible that it's taped-on!!!

It's a factory cage designed for the 996, but if you look closer you'll notice this is a 997. We had to modify the interior rocker liner in order to gain the correct fitment. Some cutting, pannel removal is involved in the process.
