AUTO TRANSPORT

Anyone out there have any exper. trucking a car across country?
Need to know pros and cons of open trailer vs closed trailer. Any input appreciated.

I would also take into consideration what I'm shipping. I've shipped several cars across country via Dependable Auto Shippers and to date have had no issues. Cars arrived in perfect condition.

Would I ship my 930 in and open transport? No. Basically because of the issues that Aren eluded too...the elements can reek havock on your cars exterior. Dust and rain are not really a problem, but I've been through some very brutal hail storms traveling through Texas and they can total a car in a matter of minutes...

Hey there,

Someone I just met last month has a dealership who he uses on a weekly basis. They have lots of transporters and so they can ship pretty quick....

He told me that they have been pretty good with all his shipments. I'm having them pick a little something up for me on Friday so I'll let you know in a week how everything went.

Here's the contact info if you wish.... They are also pretty reasonable if you ask me as they as charging me around 200-300 less than everyone else I was quoted on-line.
