GRAND OPENING Fast Forward Wheels & Pcars Service Center

Postby FastForwardWheels » Tue May 20, 2008 7:23 am

O.K. Guys,

I know the idea has been thrown around since we've all started meeting up back since and before the first meet with Romy & Irving.... Some of you know that we've made a couple of attempts recently to partner up with some "out-side" shops in order to accommodate the needs for all. Well I think it's best to have full control over what we all need from local parts and service shop hence the big move!!!!

So with the support of the owner of Fast Forward Wheels & Pcars, I've taken the keys to the new shop located in Monterey Park, CA.

I was going to wait until we had the whole place in order but I figured some of you were already asking for help it might be a good time to make the introduction now.

We are still in the set up phase, floors are almost all finished up, and the move has been in progress now for two weeks. It is a small shop but it is a newer construction and we plan on keeping it in Porsche style and flavor.

Some of you may have had the opportunity to have Victor work on your cars before (PORSCHE TECH) and know he's a valuable asset when it comes to working on our cars. For this reason Victor is taking the position of Sr. Tech for the shop. With his years of experience he's a shoe in for the position as we hope he'll help grow the shop within the years to come.

We are in the process of obtaining some of our equipment right now so the shop won't be "shop-ready" for an other month ETA.

Our facility is fully insured as of last week, we hope you'll support our efforts and bring your cars in for service work. We'll be offering Porsche Service Maintenance, Service Repairs, Parts (larger in-stock selection), Window Tint, Tires, Wheels, Wheel & Brake Caliper Refinishing.

Our service and repair work will be keep to a low rate in order to compete with other shops that have been servicing for years. But remember our Sr. Tech is the same one who would have serviced your car had you taken it into the dealer without the dealer's mark-up.

We will have a Grand Opening "maybe" on June 21, 2008; we just want to make sure everything is ready to go once we have our Open House....

update by blacknight: Grand Opening is Friday June 20th at 7PM

Once again "IN ADVANCE" thank you for your support!!!

-Eli

Congrats and Good Luck! Ill be taking my future 996 there for service... Hey, you should do PPI's (Point of Purchase Inspection) for soon to be Pcar owners. I think the average going rate for a PPI is $250 at the Porsche dealer.

Congratulations Eli on the procurement of your new facility. Good luck and I'll send a few words up to the man upstairs to help you out along the way, if you know what I mean...

Wishing you nothing but success now and in the future...

Thanks guys,

Yes, this means I'm moving out of the Alhambra location, 99% moved out as of this point. I want to thank everyone again in advance for your future support.

The shop has a $1,000,000.00 policy so be ensured that your car is protected while all services and repairs are completed.

We should be open for business in the middle of June (service) side that is. The idea was to create a place where all locals can come together where it's more of a friendship rather than a business. I'm sure you'll be happy when you see the new place, I've been very busy running around in order to pull things together.

Thank you everyone for your kind words,

Special Thanks to Richard for all his support, most replacement items will come directly from Pcars.com

Cap, Richard and you are the first in line at the time,

1) Richard PSS9 installation
2) Cap Oil Change, Shifter install?

Hi there guys,

Well it looks like we may do this for Friday June 20th at 7PM. Please let me know your thoughts, I was going to wait until the first week in July but after some consideration I think we can make it happen sooner since most of you I'm sure have plans around the 4th of July.

Also the Mid-Night run can be planned for later that same night.

Please give me your feedback on the night......

Same venue: Photo Session for Pcars so get there early, FREE stuff to be given away "this time some service related stuff", Window Tint Stuff" and of course some Wheel Refinishing Stuff.... :)

BBQ of course is in there, Coffee, Etc. etc. Can I get a list going? :)

-Eli

1) Host: Eli "me" I'll bring almost everything... :)
2) Blacknight "Richard" I'll bring some things....

Sure, cost is only $100 per car for the bikini wash for those who are seriously interested. The gals can wash and then I can have a detailer finish up with the wash, vac job. Need at least 3 in order to make that happen.
