That is exactly what I wanted to do to my car. The GT3 butt with the euro look...NO BUMPERETTES!

I say go for it. I am resisting changing mine because mine came with the factory aero and I dont want to mess it up by switching things up. It will only hurt resale later down the road. So I decided to just leave my car alone.

but if I was going to...I would do that exact some one.

I hear a group buy.... :D

I already know this guy doesn't give out wholesale rates so offer him two and see what sort of price he'll do.... You are talking about just the rear bumper correct?

Harbor City correct.... :)

I talked to him about a year ago. This operation is a group thing. His name is Tony in Torrance/Gardena area. The other is in Ventura. They have people going around wholesalers and retailers and push fiberglass parts that they molded from the originals. There is a Big Daddy involved here. He funded the buying of parts and these guys specialize in fiberglass work get thing done.

Funny, when I called him last year, we met at Automotion in Van Nuys. He brought a finished T/A front for 996 to let me see and buy it.

Tony's down in Harbor City....

He does good work ask I've spoke with a body guy who has fitted his panels before. Did you get a price from him on this piece?

Not yet! A while back I preferred George to him. He was looking for a new front end look.

I'll give him a visit in a near future.

Let me know if you need his number...

hey Pete,

On second thought...maybe don't do it. I was thinking about it...that is the GT3 997 rear end.

TWO things your car is NOT. Your car is NOT a GT3 and it is NOT a 997...so maybe you shouldn't? I think I am changing my mind on it. But in the end...it is your car and do what you like..of course!

Maybe I get 997 front fenders, headlights and front bumper to make a complete makeover to 997.

exactly...you get my point. Plus I know your plans changed about moving back to VN...but a mod like that will greatly effect the resale of the car, that is if you plan on selling.

Like I said in my post...my car came factory the way it is...and I am going to leave it. I would love to go with the GT3 front and maybe the TechArt old school whale tail on the rear, I think it looks so awesome. But...alot of peeps like the OG factory, period and model correct additions. I dunno...if you are going to keep the car then who cares. I am pretty much going to keep my car..so I will always have a cab in the stable. So who knows maybe I will mod it once I get the Turbo or RS! HA! (one of these days)
