Looking for a new suspension 02 996 C2

Postby RB911 » Mon Oct 27, 2008 9:31 am

Just a few days ago my car felt a little more bumpy and rocky than usual. I'm looking to replace my suspension with coilovers mainly for street and occasional weekend track. Any suggestions for this on a budget without throwing quality out the window.

Thanks,
Rich

Thanks Aren. I've heard good things about the PSS9 too. I've been looking for a used set too. Like you said "patience".

Thanks again.

I am planning on going bilstein myself. That is one of the missing pieces in my car. I currently run the R0W M030 and yea its still a little HIGH and it is def squishy....

The PSS9s you can find a deal on if you look because the PSS10s have been out for awhile.

As for "quality" lets be real here none of us are race track drivers and "real world" butt experience you will not be able to tell the difference. Going with an adjustable coil over is a huge improvement already. Once you begin nit picking between the tiny details...and you only drive on the street and the occasional track..you wont know the difference.

I know the JICs LOOK sexier..and they did a lot of R&D on the owners personal car as stated by Aren...but in the end...BILSTEIN is a known old school brand and have been developing suspensions for our cars for a long time. Totally up to you....
Anybody tells you money is the root of all evil, doesn't f*cking have it.

Thanks man. Looks like I'm going with the PSS9's. I hear nothing but good reviews on them.
