Mechanic in Santa Monica area

Postby hybridctr » Tue Jul 03, 2007 10:35 am

I need to have my tranny fluid, brakes and oil changed. Anyone have any mechanics around that they recommend?

I would love to do this on my own but Arling said lucent can't do the tranny oil change so it leads me to believe that there are some special toosl involved... i'm going to read the shop manual when I get home... Anyone wanna come over and help me? haha dinner is on me!

- David

p.s - I live in northridge

If you are in Northridge try out TRE Motorsports in North Hollywood. Ask for Jeremy the service manager.

My car is there now...(you can read the post about my car troubles) but they are a good shop.
Anybody tells you money is the root of all evil, doesn't f*cking have it.

Totally, I need someone to de-press my brakes when I'm dipping the fluids...... BUT I will have two sessions, the removal (3-days later) I should have freshly redone brakes. At that point I'll start the install....

Want to be there for the install? I think I'll be starting this project next week.... Say maybe Tuesday...

I have a list of parts if you need them as well....
