Should I turn the Porsche into a drift car?

Postby FastForwardWheels » Thu Mar 27, 2008 10:34 pm

Well,

I figured since I do have access to tires, with a little sponsorship help I figured I might look into it. I do know the car is a little hard to be the ideal one since the rear is so heavy but wouldn't it be cool to see one of us drifting out there?

I need a new hobby..... Last time I went drifting was before it was called drifting in the early 90's in mall parking lots. We just did it for fun, my buddy at the time had a 944 Turbo and he was pretty wild. Then again it's a front mount.

you got to be kidding...dude.

PLEASE...take up stamp collecting.

as for Porsche drifting...JIC CROSS has one..and I watched the special they did on the build of that car and it took ALOT of money and time to do it. You would have to do ALOT to the car to make it "DRIFT."

Remember drifting..is making the car do EXACTLY OPPOSITE what is was designed to do. It take work to make a Nissan 240 do it...now you are going to take a almost PERFECT sports car and purposely make it lose traction etc...it will take alot. The JIC CROSS 996 is actually pretty competitive, and the owner of JIC in the interview said the same thing...he did it because it was a CHALLENGE for him...because everyone told him...you cannot drift a porsche.

 No love for Eli if he goes ricerboy drifter on us

You need a 928 manual for that! :)

PORSCHE 928 GT 1989
ABARTH 500 2009
Harley Davidson Road King Classic 1999
