This should be covred under warranty through PNA,

I would first suggest exhausting your resources trying to get them to fix it. I've pulled dash-assemblies out several times and it isn't a fun job to say the least.

I'd call the dash-job about an 8-hour trip. . . . But maybe a little more if you're going to play search and rescue on that noise.

My best guess is going to be something found inside the vent assembly which is the biggest unit found in the dash. This unit will need to be removed to be checked, it can be as simple as a screw just sliding in there or a blade not seated correctly....

None of the 2 dealers (Mckenna and Downtown LA) really wanted to take apart the dash and said that it is not a big deal as the GT3 suspension is very stiff and may be prone to some small noises. also, this only happens on certain road conditions, on smooth surfaces, there is no sound. but on surfaces like the 10 freeway, it gets very annoying. and with just my luck, the sound is not very prominent around the streets by the dealer!

when you say the AC vent, are you referring to the one in the center with the door lock buttons and emergency light buttons? I've removed this trim from the car and test drove it, but the sound was still there!

I was refering to the AC vent box which is about the size of 3-foot log. There are some actuation levers in there and it just takes one to brake off to make some noise. Unfortunately these are one of those jobs which shops will only bill an hourly without an absolute that the job will yield results.

i'm not to sure which unit your referring to. which side of the dash is it located? so far, i got the radio, a/c, and glovebox removed, but can't seem to find anything yet.

It's the biggest single piece item located under the upper dash.... Trust me, you're not getting it out without the dash coming out of there.......
