My first bike experience was on a little 250 which belonged to my brother.... I then didn't drive for more than 10 years then hopped onto a 1100 GSXR..... OMG..... Not something that should be done..... But I was lucky to have gotten away from a couple close calls.....

I would never to anywhere near anything larger than a 600 on a first time bike..... I would say a 250 is very easy to learn on.....
