1987 944 SPORT

Postby riversideC4 » Thu Sep 04, 2008 7:22 pm

okay fellows. A new topic. I've come across a 1987 944 Sport for sale. The body appears to be in fairly good shape. The interior appears to be in fairly good condition. It cannot be started and the wife of the owner doesn't know what"s wrong with it. The color is red. I've spoken with Eli and gotten his comments and opinions. I welcome your oppinions and comments as well. I'll try to post some photos.

I seem to be having a little problem with photos these days. I'm gonna print them and bring them to Chucks house today. We can talk about it then? You guys coming?

After reviewing some of the photos and discussion with some of the guys at Chucks yesterday, the consensus is It would cost too much money to attempt to restore this car. I got a phone number of someone who might be interested in this car for parts. We'll see?

yeah. I know. I drive around the City almost every day and see a lot of cars. I saw a 928, I think it was about a mid 80's, last week. I left my card with a note to call me with detals. Haven"t had a response yet. Gonna check back this week. Not actively looking for anything. As I see something, my thought is maybe one of you guys or someone you know, might be interested in a project car?
Once I get a card reader for home, I'll down load photos as I come acroos these cars.
