Hey everbody...need a little help. I've gotta 88 930 turbo and theres a key slot in the door jamb on the driver side. Can anyone tell me what the heck it's for?

I'm stumped. I thought it might be for the trunk, but there is already a key slot in the handle. I even assumed that it might be for the hood, but no such luck. Please advise.

It's for the factory "alarm". There should be another key to activate it.

I would suspect that only Porsche could assist you with locating the key for it or you could always try a lock-smith to see what they tell you.

I actually have the key, just didn't know what the heck it did when I turned the darn thing....
