exhaust change

okay the exhaust i picked up from Sonny on saturday was
an 03' boxster S...

and i have an 02' Boxster

im going to change it anyways but i would like to know
if there's any difference in HP, air flow, and sound.???

i know that 03+ S muffler is louder but what else.

anyone?

yeah you are going OEM to OEM. So what difference there is will be so tiny it wont be much of a difference. So unless your old mufflers were thrashed...and/or you got nicer tips...it aint going to help too much.

thats true,... it just need to stop raining and cold
so i can get to working on it... :D

by the way, is it neccessary to remove the rear bumper to change out the exhaust on the boxster. i seen so many people removing the rear just to change the exhaust!!

I have change my exhaust a few times. You do not need to remove the rear bumper. Its pretty easy.

I find the Boxster is easier to work on than most cars. I dunno maybe I am crazy.

So touch it...mod it.

the car looks scary...but it can actually back it up! Great car.

okay! people help!!!!!!!! :(
i can't take off my exhaust. i took everything off...but theres 2 screws
holding on to the very top of the exhaust. i cant fit the wrench in there
so i think i need to take off my rear bumper.... :x

thanks i'll check it out...

i am swapping my stock for an 03' S exhaust....

i look at the difference between the screws and bolts on the exhaust...
none S have to bolt on top and S doesnt
