Call Victor the forum tech, he can help you out....

I'd say it's a shift link but Victor can confirm by taking a look at it...

Best to get him on it now before you destroy something more expensive.

An adjustment may all you need....

Doesn't matter whether engine's cold or warm. When I bought the car last year the owner already told me about this issue (confirmed when I test drove the car; issue happened once). He did not mention when he replaced the clutch (I didn't ask); he did mention the rear brakes will soon need replacement (which I had replaced last August). The other gears have no issues. It seems easier to shift into 1st gear when the car is still slightly rolling. Thanks Peter.
