Hey guys I picked up a muffler from Steve to see if I can do some mod on it. I finally got it open today. What I want to do is change the sound. My question is how do I change that. Any muffler guy out there who can give the low down on how this things work.

Well if you want a real moded sound here's what you can do....

The Green areas can be cut out and disgarded.

The Red Pipes outlined can be added for a straight though design, now if you want a little quiet you can keep those dotted areas open but if not spot weld to close them up.

Should straight forward from the diagram here.....

Thanks Eli, Somebody suggested I just drill holes on the Green Outline. I am not sure if that would make any difference.

Romy, if you do exactly what Eli saids the sound would really aggressive. Otherwise, the other way you get not much different.

I figured that's what he was going for....
