I know I've mentioned this to you before but I figure I would make metion again to see if others agree....

Maybe draw up a list of some of the most common repairs such as:

1) Oil Changes
2) Tune-Ups
3) Clutch Jobs
4) Spring Exchange / Adjustable Suspension
5) Brake Jobs
6) PPI work
7) And any other common repairs you can come up with....

Create a list with pricing, it's OK to put something like: EXAMPLE: EMPTY OUT ASHTRAY $300-350 or CHANGE WIPER BLADES: $800-900

Just having fun with my examples but you get the idea... :)

Lets start with the my rates, I charge a 80.00 hourly flat rate.
Choose one please.
Good rate.
Too high.
Too low
Or enter a suggested hourly flat rate.

I don't think your rates are out of the question...

I guess my suggestion was to post a couple of thing as such... NOW I KNOW MY PRICES ARE OFF BUT HERE GOES...

Oil Change 996/986 $170 Genuine Parts and Mobil 0/40 included.
Spring Swap 996/986 $280
Spring Swap 996/997 Turbo $320
ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC.
ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC.
ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC.
ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC.
ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC.
ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC. ETC.

This way people know your rates and cost without feeling as though they need to call you for a simple quote. Just my .02

Okay I'll work on some price quotes and lets see what come out.

This will help me help you too as I get questioned at least once a week from a local guy who needs some tech work but I have no idea on pricing when they ask...

I'm sure this will help get you more time under the hood or deck-lid... :)

Take care,
