I have the Z1 which was Pineer's TOP OF THE LINE unit as of last year, this year it was replaced with the Z2 of course.

When purchase it was near $2,000..... The speed sensor is not that easily tricked and you'll need to install a special adaptor. Now on the lower models such as the D1, D2 and some of the early Z1 models you were able to trick the unit by flashing your headlamps while the unit powered up. Not the case on the late model Z1 units and I'm sure Pioneer put more of this technology in place with the updates in the new 2008 models....

By the way I had a nice size amp installed but I haven't had time to update the speakers...

Also are you selling the car or still playing with it?

Good Luck,
