hello (new here)

not sure how I stumbled upon this excellent site, but very nicely done. Love the videos and pictures provided here. Me and my father (Im 18 yrs old) have a Black /Tan Boxster, which was just involved in a minor accident, crushing the right headlight and bumper direectly under it, and also either the radiator or resevoir are damaged, so all needs to be replaced. So fun to drive that in the summer...If anyone knows the best site to find some good bumpers and whatnot for a boxster send a link my way, looking for the cheapest out there, but kinda like the Gt bumper or some sort of a Euro one..Also looking at the aero sideskirts. Well enough for now, and glad to be a part of this great fourm!

Its an NA, but it, well, was in perfect condition, and has a hardtop. Do you mean get xenon bulbs for the lamps, not quite sure what your referring to by litronic. And no, the insurance wont cover anything, because a deer caused the accident, but he didnt actually hit the deer. There was a five car pileup on the highway because a young girl decided to slam on her brakes to avoid hitting the deer, rather than swerve around or just hit it. Of course she didnt get a scratch, but thats beyond the point. Also, do you have any good sites to find the bumper and side skirts at good prices, trying to find something that isnt going to be a huge budget. We also want to switch those ugly yellow things under the headlights with clear ones (dont know what there called). and possibly a spoiler? Not sure of a good one for a Boxster, if there even are any. Im trying to get it back on the road as soon as possible, because now I am driving a mini van to college, not quite the chick magnet the Porsche was haha. As of now that is all I can think of, and thank you very kindly for the welcome!

i actually found this picture, almost identical damage although the hood on ours is perfectly fine, but the headlight is smashed in and the bumper has damae in just about the same areas. The bumper is not quite as bad, although regardless it has to be replaced.

wow, just found this site, has EVERYTHING im looking for (other than the radiator) and I have no clue if these are good prices. Also, does the front spoiler that comes with the kit, does that include a bumper or do I have to buy the bumper seperately? http://www.departstop.com/boxteqext.htm
Sorry, I should probably move all of these replies to another section.

Welcome!

Try this site, it has better prices and it is a genuine Porsche dealer too.

No affiliation with them and they are not board sponsor either. Ask for Rick. Tell them PCARSchat sent you. Maybe they will sponsor the forum in the future. :D

Anyway, good luck. Love to see what you will do to it. Many configurations possible.
