Hi all,

Just a quick intro. I've been lurking for a bit but finally decided to join up.

I'm a CA guy at heart (born there) but moved away young. I've been a Porsche owner since 2000 (1973 911T) and just last year purchased a '97 993C4S.

Looking forward to interacting and meeting some new folks.

Thanks. I'm actually in the market for a 996 right now. Wife gave me permission to get a cab (something fun for the summer). So, i'm on the prowl for something I can drive for 3/4 of the year (put a ton of miles on it) and sell it the following year without taking a bath.

Pictures of my 993 are at 993C4S d0t com (nope, can't post my website yet :-)

Some people may recognize the photos (they were taken by the dealer I purchased from). I have taken plenty of my own, but Mike's are still the best.

I'll have to post more of them.

I now don't feel so new afterall.

Thanks! I could look at it for hours. Unfortunately, being out on the East coast, I only get to look at it this time of year. Good part is I get to plan and execute all my mods and upgrades.

I'll put up some pics of my 73 911 once I'm able too.

I have yet to see another 993 in my color combination.

Metallic Forest Green with Cashmere Full Leather interior and complete aluminum package (gauges, sills, ebrake and shifter).

I know they must exist, but until I see one, mine is one of a kind 8)
