Trying to move to Souther California for the Winter

Postby 993C4S » Sat Mar 29, 2008 8:53 pm

Anyone a landlord? I'm in the process of renting out my primary home here in Massachusetts.

Plan is to live at our summer place in Maine from May through October/November. We then want to rent a place in Southern California for the winter.

We're not that picky. Looking for two bedroom, two bathroom bungalow or cottage with yard (fenced would be preference) that allows dogs. Oh yeah, at least 1 car garage for the Porsche!!! :-) Only requirement is that we be in a reasonably safe and quiet neighborhood.

Anyone have thoughts on towns. I would love to be withing walking distance of the ocean. What is a reasonable budget? Think I can find a place for $2500 per month?

Any thoughts are appreciated.
John

Hey Romey,

What are things looking like right now? Do you have a list of Alhambra/ Monterey Park homes up for grabs? F/S that is.....
